Measure B and J Capital Improvement Bond Programs | Oakland, Ca
SGI provides program and construction management services for the District’s ongoing $500 million Measure B bond program and the recently approved $475 million Measure J bond program and capital projects. Currently, there are more than 100 projects being managed by SGI, including new classroom buildings, modernization projects, multipurpose gymnasiums, playground improvements, fire and alarm upgrades, kitchen renovations, child development centers, health and wellness centers, career technical education centers and the new state-of-the-art Downtown Educational Complex.
Additionally, SGI is working closely with the district, community and multiple shareholders to promote the district’s Full Service Community School Initiative (FSCSI).
