Ohlone Elementary School – New Construction and Renovations of Campus Facilities | Hercules, Ca
The new and renovated Ohlone Elementary School was constructed in three phases. The first phase created a 44,000-sf classroom, library, and administration facility. Phase two entails demolishing the old campus. Phase three was the renovation of the old multipurpose space and construction of a five-classroom kindergarten center and a six-room childcare center for Hercules families. In addition new site work is also included in this project.
The new buildings have butterfly roof tops that allow plenty of light into the interiors. The students will have leading-edge technology, energy efficiency, and updated security measures to support their academic learning.
Temporary portables on site will provide classrooms for the kindergartners until phase three’s completion in spring 2016.
