Title IX Improvements, including Dugout and Fencing Projects | San Jose, CA
SGI provided program, project, and construction management services for the Title IX Field Improvement projects at East Side Union High School District’s Wm. C. Overfelt High School Campus. The field improvements, including a new dugout and fencing system, were constructed to provide the softball team with better conditions and comply with Title IX requirements.
The construction work included the renovation of two softball fields and an existing multi-use area. The work scope included field re-grading, drainage, irrigation, planting of new natural turf, installation of new dugouts, batting cage, fencing, walkways, and new fabric for existing varsity backstop. The project additionally encompassed the demolition of an existing fence and backstop structure and the installation of new wet and dry utilities, including irrigation, as necessary.
